Recently we have been working on91071 Implementing procedures to produce a specified digital media outcome. We have been working from the project template and the video introductions to the task.
Here is another explanation of copyright - it is also a good example of a digital media style.
The resources for the unit are here: S:\Computing\CHM\trial1\videos\access\91071_2012
If you have not used access before there are good tutorials available online, the teach -ICT site has some material and there is a step by step workbook called 2786-07 Learner in the resource folder. If you work through the classroom example you should have all you need to complete the unit.
Objective
To solve an information management problem using software applications.
Lesson 1
Understand what skills and knowledge are required for this standard.
Consider why these skills and knowledge are important.
DO: Look at standard 91071 and discuss what is meant by each of the assessment criteria
Video 1 in resource folder:
S:\Computing\CHM\trial1\videos\access\91071_2012
Compare digital to non digital methods of information management
Understand the basic features of a database, including tables, forms, reports, queries
DO: Complete voice thread activity
Lesson 3
Develop database skills by solving a problem using a database
video 2
DO: Make a database table to store student data for Ms Simpson
